Maulana Azad Memorial Academy (MAMA),
Established in September 1975 in Lucknow, is a non-profit organization committed to upholding and promoting the timeless ideals of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. As one of India’s most revered freedom fighters and the first Education Minister of independent India, Maulana Azad’s vision of patriotism, secularism, communal harmony, and national integration serves as the foundation of our mission.
For nearly five decades, the academy has been at the forefront of fostering these values through education, research, and cultural activities. We strive to connect Maulana Azad’s principles with modern society, ensuring his legacy remains relevant and inspiring for generations to come.
Maulana Azad Memorial Academy is registered under Section 21 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Our head office is located in Aurangabad Khalsa, Lucknow, with Shariq Alavi as the current president.
